Imports of oil field pipe products (OCTG) in the USA amounted to about 63,900 tons in January 2023, increased by 78% y-o-y, while decreasing by 3.4% m-o-m.
Imports from Taiwan amounted to about 38,300 tons, imports from South Korea amounted to about 35,600 tons, imports from Canada amounted to about 28,900 tons, imports from Mexico amounted to about 27,800 tons, and imports from Italy amounted to about 26,400 tons.
The value of imports decreased by 1.4% m-o-m and increased by 135.9% y-o-y to USD 587 million.
