Nippon Steel's stainless steel price will remain stable for February

Japan's Nippon Steel announced that it has decided to keep prices of 300 series stainless steel and medium and heavy plate constant for February. Meanwhile, 400 series stainless steel prices may drop by 5,000 yen ($38.19) per ton due to currency fluctuations.
In February, the surcharge on 316L products increased by 50,000 yen ($381.91) per ton as molybdenum prices rose due to unstable supplies.
