According to a statement by the Zonguldak Governor's Office, Zonguldak Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu accompanied Minister Kacır during the visit.
Inspected production facilities
At Erdemir, Minister Kacır was welcomed by Vice Chairman of the Board Ömer Cihad Vardan, Board Members and Executive Directors İsmail Doğan and Tolga Saygun, and Erdemir General Manager Şaban Yazıcı.
The Minister toured the production facilities and received information from company officials about ongoing operations and current projects.
Production capacity and investments discussed
During the meetings held as part of the visit, Erdemir's production capacity, strategic investments, and contributions to Türkiye's industry were discussed.
The company's management stated that, with its strong production infrastructure, strategic investments, and manufacturing capabilities, Erdemir will continue to maintain its leading position in the iron and steel industry while contributing to the country's industrial development.
