Mexico's wire rod production decreases while rebar production increases

In September this year, Mexico's wire rod production fell by 6.5% m-o-m and 12.4% y-o-y to around 47,100 tons. Rebar production in the country, on the other hand, rose by 17% m-o-m and 23.2% y-o-y to around 186,000 tons.

In the January-September period of this year, Mexico's wire rod production fell by 4% yoy to 481,000 tons, while rebar output rose by 3.5% yoy to 1.4 million tons.
