Wire rod production was 162,100 tons in February this year
In February 2023, Mexico's wire rod production decreased by 2.4% compared to January and by 0.9% compared to February 2022, standing at about 162,100 tons.
In the January-February period of 2023, wire rod production decreased by 0.7% y-o-y to 328,000 tons.
Rebar production increased in February
In February, Mexico's rebar production at about 241,200 tons, increased by 1.3% from the previous month and 3.2% from the same period a year earlier.
In the January-February period of 2023, rebar production increased by 0.4% y-o-y to 479,300 tons.
