Mexico's scrap import value fell by 47% to around USD 58 million in July. In the first seven months, it fell 24.4% for the first time since 2020.
The country's scrap exports, on the other hand, increased by 15.4% to USD 41 million in July, while January-July exports fell by 23% to around USD 260 million.
