MAN Industries stated that, through its wholly owned subsidiary Man International Steel Industries Company, it acquired Saudi Arabia-based National Pipe Company for USD 102 million (approximately INR 1,000 crore).
In the company’s statement, it was noted that the acquisition aims to strengthen MAN Industries’ position in the global market. It was also highlighted that National Pipe Company has an installed production capacity of 430,000 MTPA and stands out with its strong operational structure in HSAW and LSAW pipe manufacturing.
The acquisition is expected to enhance the company’s reach, particularly in oil and natural gas pipelines, water transmission, desalination projects, and large-scale industrial projects across the Middle East, especially in Saudi Arabia. The company emphasized that this move represents not only a strengthening of MAN Industries’ regional presence but also a critical milestone in its international growth strategy.
