Made in Steel 2027 to bring steel industry representatives together in an expanded exhibition area in Milan

Made in Steel, which brings together producers, distributors, buyers and decision-makers from across the steel supply chain, is preparing to return in 2027 with an expanded format. Combining a conference programme with an international exhibition, the event will be held at Fiera Milano Rho in Milan, Italy, from 11 to 13 May 2027.

Made in Steel 2027 aims to connect companies active in steel production, primary processing, distribution and services, alongside steel-consuming industries. The conference programme is expected to address major topics shaping the industry, including market dynamics, innovation, sustainability and geopolitics.

According to Made in Steel’s official website, the event is positioned as an international platform that supports business development as well as the exchange of knowledge, expertise and industry perspectives.

Event expands to three halls

One of the main developments for the 2027 edition is the expansion of the exhibition area from two halls to three. Made in Steel will occupy Halls 8, 12 and 16 at Fiera Milano Rho.

A large central “avenue” will connect the three halls. The new feature is designed to improve visitor circulation, increase exhibitor visibility and support the creation of new commercial relationships.

Through the expanded layout, the organisers aim to attract more international companies and strengthen integration between the different segments of the steel supply chain.

According to the official announcement, Made in Steel has recorded a 46% increase in participant numbers and a 43% rise in the number of participating companies over the past decade.

International growth takes centre stage

The cooperation between siderweb and Fiera Milano is central to Made in Steel’s international growth strategy. Fiera Milano acquired a stake in Made in Steel in February 2026, marking the beginning of a new development phase, while siderweb continues to organise the event alongside Fiera Milano.

The partnership aims to attract leading global steel companies to Milan, increase the event’s international visibility and involve downstream steel-consuming industries more closely.

Made in Steel has also received international event status from the Lombardy Region for its 2027 edition. The classification is based on factors including the event’s industry representation and the international profile of its exhibitors and visitors.

Previous edition welcomed more than 19,000 visitors

Made in Steel 2025 attracted 19,252 visitors and brought together 387 participating companies. Visitors from 81 countries attended the event, alongside more than 50 international buyers. The figures underline the event’s growing position within the European and global steel market.

At Made in Steel 2027, visitor access will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., while exhibitor access will run from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The visitor ticket office is expected to open in 2027. The deadline for exhibitor applications has been set for 23 March 2027. Further participation and visitor information is available on the official Made in Steel website.
