Kıbrıs Rum yönetimi Türkiye ve KKTC’nin itirazlarına rağmen tek yanlı parselleyerek doğalgaz bulduğu Afrodit adı verilen ihtilaflı bölgeye İsraillileri ortak aldı. 100 milyar dolar değerinde doğalgazın bulunduğu bölgede İsrailli Delek şirketi kullanımın haklarının yüzde 30’una sahip olacak.
