Amidst energy constraints and production losses totaling over 1.5 million tons during the three-year period from 2020 to 2023, Khouzestan Steel Company has proven its resilience and dominance in Iran's steel industry. The company solidifies its position as the country's largest steel exporter and a prominent global brand.
Despite facing challenges, Khouzestan Steel Company successfully sold more than 11.9 million tons of its high-quality steel products during this period. Approximately 4.8 million tons of these exports reached international markets, reinforcing the company's global presence.
In 2021, the company achieved another milestone by becoming Iran's largest exporter within the steel chain, shipping over 1.4 million tons of products. Around 1.3 million tons were directly shipped, with an additional 108,000 tons facilitated through the commodity exchange ring.
Continuing its upward trajectory, Khouzestan Steel Company recorded exports of approximately 1.3 million tons in 2023. Nearly 1 million tons of these exports were directly handled by the company, while over 300,000 tons were transacted via product sales in the commodity exchange ring.
