Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant (KUMZ) is one of the main enterprises in Sverdlovsk Region. KUMZ was created as a special metallurgy plant within the Ministry of Aviation Industry to provide the aircraft industry with semi-finished products from aluminum and magnesium alloys. The plant produces aluminum and aluminum alloy ingots, flat rolled products, profiles, pipes, and much more.
Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant fell under EU sanctions
As SteelRadar reported earlier, the European Union adopted 11 packages of sanctions against companies associated with the Russian defense industry. The Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant was included in the list.
