JSW Steel of India and metal recycler National Steel Holdings of New Zealand have planned to set up a metal recycling plant at Pen in Maharashtra's Raigad district.
JSW Steel has purchased more than 30.5 acres near JSW's steel mill in Dolvi. The recycled steel output from the new facilities will be used at the Dolvi plant.
JSW stated that once the land acquisition is complete, the project will be completed within 12-18 months.
