Jindal Steel commissioned its first continuous galvanizing line in Odisha

Jindal Steel & Power announced the commissioning of the first continuous galvanizing line at its Angul Integrated Steel Complex in the eastern Indian state of Odisha.

The move by the Naveen Jindal-led company is an important part of a INR 3,400 crore investment in the cold rolling mill (CRM) complex.

The newly commissioned line will produce galvanized and galvalume products under the Jindal Panther Galvanized and Zinkalume brands. The line will serve a wide range of industrial sectors, especially in the home appliances, automotive, construction and infrastructure sectors.

Commenting on the issue, Jindal Steel Chairman Naveen Jindal stated, "The commissioning of our first galvanizing line at Angul Integrated Steel Complex is a proud milestone for our company. This development is a demonstration of our commitment to provide high quality and value-added steel products that suit the needs of various sectors."
