Tokyo Steel Japan's largest steelmaker has lowered scrap purchase prices for the second time this week.
The company has cut bids by JPY 1,000/t ($8/t) for four of its steelworks effective 9 July 2022.
After the revision, bid prices for H2 scrap are at JPY 51,000/t ($/t) delivered to Tahara, while prices for Utsunomiya remained unchanged.
