According to statistics of the Italian Steel Producers Association, Italy's crude steel production reached approximately 1.8 million tons in November, an increase of 1.3% compared to the same month of the previous year.
During this period, Italy's flat steel production increased by 15.4% annually to approximately 850,000 tons, while long product production decreased by 0.1% annually to approximately 1.1 million tons.
In the first 11 months of this year, Italy produced a total of approximately 19 million tonnes of crude steel, down 3% year on year. While flat steel product production increased by 0.2% annually to 8.9 million tons, long product production decreased by 3.3% annually to 10.9 million tons.
