India’s Growing Steel Industry

India became the world's second-largest steel producer in 2023, with crude steel production reaching 125.32 million tons and finished steel production at 121.29 million tons. In the fiscal year 2024, this figure is expected to increase by 4-7% to 123-127 million tons. The country's vast iron ore reserves and cost-effective labor are key factors supporting the industry's growth.

ISME 2025 will feature steel and metal manufacturers, non-ferrous metal producers, foundry industries, automation and industrial solution providers, environmental sustainability companies, and key players in the sector.
