Iran’s Mobarakeh Steel halts production completely following attacks

As previously reported by SteelRadar, Mobarakeh Steel had been targeted twice by missile strikes during air attacks allegedly linked to the United States and Israel. In its latest statement, the company noted that, based on inspections conducted so far, intensive attacks have caused severe damage and widespread destruction to units involved in the production process. It was stated that the damage has led to a complete halt of production lines.

The statement added that, due to the current situation, production activities at the facility cannot be sustained. With key units involved in the production process rendered inoperative, operations across the industrial complex have been entirely disrupted.

The company’s management emphasized that employee safety remains a top priority under the current circumstances. In this context, measures have been taken to protect human resources, which are described as the company’s most valuable asset.

The statement also warned that being present at the facility may pose risks under current conditions and requested that all employees refrain from coming to the Mobarakeh Steel plant until further notice.

The company stated that the process of resuming production will be evaluated after the completion of damage assessments and once the necessary safety conditions are ensured.
