Exports of flat products in the first seven months of 2023 decreased by 13% to 4.51 million tons. In the same period in 2022, Indian companies shipped 5.19 million tons abroad. Hot-rolled steel showed the worst results, the export of which fell by 26%, from 3.04 million tons to 2.25 million tons.
Exports of billet products decreased by 57% to 630 thousand tons, long products - by 61% to 360 thousand tons.
