According to preliminary estimates, exports of shaped steel products such as angles, channels and I-beams from Russia to Kazakhstan in September amounted to approximately 20 thousand tons.
Compared to the previous month, shipments increased by 20% and by 18% year-on-year.
The average price of products at the Russian border in September was about $1,030 per ton. Although this price is 0.7% lower than in August, it is 5% higher than the price in September last year.
Delivery volume for the January-September period reached 157 thousand tons, down 10% compared to last year.
