According to the statement made by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change, the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has been initiated for the Kütahya solar power plant project of İçdaş Çelik Enerji Tersane ve Ulaşım A.Ş.
The investment cost of the project is determined as 849.95 million TL and a total of 87,022 solar panels are planned to be established. The established capacity of the power plant will be 50 MWe and is expected to have an annual energy generation capacity of 73.18 million kWh.
In addition, the electricity generated will be used in the existing industrial facilities of İçdaş.
