İçdaş Çelik has announced that it will organize an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Review and Evaluation Commission (REC) Meeting for its "İçdaş Denizli Solar Power Plant (SPP)" project.

The meeting is scheduled to take place on February 4, 2025, for the solar power plant project planned in the Bekilli district of Denizli, initiated by İçdaş Çelik Enerji Tersane ve Ulaşım Sanayi AŞ.

The total investment cost of the project is stated to be approximately 867.7 million TL (867,767,687 TL).

The planned total direct current (DC) power capacity of the SPP is 50,331.84 kWp, while the total alternating current (AC) power capacity is expected to be 44,000 kWe.

The annual electricity production of the plant is projected to reach 82,500,000 kWh/year.

The project, designed with a capacity of 44 MWe/50.331 MWm, will include 9 transformers with a capacity of 5 MVA each, 1 distribution center, 14 inverters to convert the direct current electricity generated by the panels into grid-compatible electricity, and 92,352 panels.
