The South Korean major company Hyundai Steel has announced that from September 1, 2023, there will be an increase in steel pipe prices of up to KRW 70,000/tonne ($53/t). The base price for black tubes shall be increased by KRW 50,000/t ($38/t) and for white/conduit tubes by KRW 70,000/t ($53/t).
Hyundai Steel reported that this price increase was due to rising raw material costs.
