HRC exports of Türkiye increased by 85.8% in January-March period

SteelRadar analysts compiled data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) and calculated that Türkiye's exports of hot rolled coil steel (HRC) increased by 65.3% compared to the same month of the previous year, rising from 165,181 tons to 207,356 tons in March 2024. It increased by 25.5% compared to the previous month, February.

In January-March period, total HRC exports increased by 85.8% compared to the same period of the previous year, rising from 259,721 tons to 482,546 tons.

The leading HRC export destinations of Türkiye in March were Spain with 52,209.2 tons, Italy with 43,739.3 tons, Egypt with 26,827.6 tons, Algeria with 21,608.2 tons and Greece with 14,201.7 tons.
