Due to the Nowruz holiday in Iran, the sales activities of companies producing billet and rebar were stopped in Last week. Therefore, the price of billet fob exported by Iran is between 572 and 577 dollars per ton and the price of rebar is 530 to 555 dollars per ton. At the auction, which took place in the last weeks of March, a large Iranian company sold slabs $570/t FOB approximately.
In the last two weeks after Nowruz, the price of slab exported by Iran increased by 1.8% as FOB, reaching 560-570$ per ton, and it was recorded as the highest steel plate price exported by Iran in the last 10 months (since June 11, 2022).
