Housing prices in EU countries increased by 7.3 percent in the second quarter

Housing prices in the European Union (EU) increased by 7.3 percent in the second quarter of this year compared to the same period of 2020.

The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) has published data on housing prices for the second quarter of 2021 in EU countries.

Accordingly, house prices in the EU increased by 2.7 percent in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the previous quarter and by 7.3 percent compared to the same period of 2020.

Housing prices in the Euro Zone increased by 2.6 percent compared to the previous quarter and by 6.8 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

Among the EU member states, the highest increase in housing prices in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the same period of the previous year was in Estonia with 16.1 percent, in Denmark with 15.6 percent and in the Czech Republic with 14.5 percent.

Housing prices are 10.9 percent in Germany, 5.7 percent in France, 3.3 percent in Spain, 0.4 percent in Italy, 12.8 percent in the Netherlands and 7.4 percent in Belgium. recorded an increase.
