Hot rolled coil consumption in Mexico increased in April

In April this year, apparent hot rolled coil consumption in Mexico increased by 13.9% y-o-y to 417 thousand tons.

In the first 4 months of 2023, hot rolled coil consumption increased by 14.7% yoy to 1.59 million tons.

Hot rolled coil exports decreased on a monthly basis

Mexico's exports of hot rolled coil steel decreased by 72.7% to 12 thousand tons in April. In the four-month period since the beginning of this year, they fell by 72.8% yoy to 58 thousand tons.
