Hoa Phat Group's steel sales increased in August compared to the same month of the previous year

Vietnam's largest steel producer, Hoa Phat Group, reported that its steel sales, including rebar, steel billets and hot rolled coils (HRC), reached 558,000 tons in August, up 8% compared to July.

Vietnam's largest steel producer, Hoa Phat Group, reported that its steel sales, including rebar, steel billets and hot rolled coils (HRC), reached 558,000 tons in August, up 8% compared to July. Reported sales increased by 20% compared to the same month in the previous year.

Among them, rebar sales reached 306,000 tons, up 18% month on month, reaching the highest level since the beginning of this year. Hot rolled coil sales volume decreased by 17% month on month to 241,000 tons.

In addition, the group's rebar exports increased 3.5 times monthly and reached 98,000 tons, reaching the highest level of the last year.

In the first eight months of this year, Hoa Phat Group produced 4.18 million tonnes of crude steel, down 25% year on year. Steel sales also decreased by 22% year on year, reaching approximately 4 million tons.
