According to the project approved by the Yunnan Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the investments will be carried out in two phases. In the first phase, one ladle furnace will be commissioned along with auxiliary units such as power distribution, automation systems, dust containment, ventilation and sampling. In the second phase, a second ladle furnace will be installed and the system will be supported by the infrastructure built in the first phase.
The commissioning of the new furnaces is expected to result in a significant increase in the company's liquid steel production capacity, while at the same time reducing the environmental impact of the production processes and improving energy utilization. This move will also contribute to the modernization process of the steel industry in the region.
