Rebar prices in Turkey have continued to rise, while wire rod prices have risen in parallel.
Leading steel mills in Turkey, such as Icdas and Habas, are selling wire rod at an average of $15-20 above rebar prices. Therefore, wire rod suppliers are also closely monitoring rebar prices.
The situation is different at Karabük Kardemir. The factory, which has a wide range of products in wire rod, opens the prices of certain products for sale at certain intervals and sells and closes them in a short time.
Since April 26, Kardemir, which has been closed for wire rod sales, has opened its current wire rod prices for sale. The new prices were announced at $655, down by $30.
