Decreasing in imports
In 2023, Türkiye's seamless pipe imports decreased by 8.75% compared to the previous year, falling to 433,236 tons.
In December 2023, Türkiye imported 37,422 tons of seamless pipes, with a decrease of 15% compared to the same period of 2022. Exports increased by 34% to 1,633 tons.
During the said period, the highest import was realized in January with 54,216 tons and a 46% increase was recorded on a monthly basis.
On the other hand, the lowest import amount was recorded as 18,211 tons in February, with a 53% decrease on a monthly basis. In 2022, the highest import was 55,856 tons in June and the lowest import was 19,874 tons in November.

Exports increased by 26%
Türkiye's seamless pipe exports showed a significant increase in 2023 compared to the previous year and increased by 26%, reaching 30,934 tons. In December, it increased by 34% compared to the previous year and reached 1,633 tons.
While the highest export amount was 6,412 tons in January, this figure increased by 258% compared to the previous month. The lowest export amount was recorded as 1,541 tons in November, with a monthly decrease of 20%. In 2022, the highest export amount was 2,766 tons in May, while the lowest export amount was 1,212 tons in December.
