According to the information obtained by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data, Turkey's ferro alloy imports in October increased by 4.86% compared to the same period last year and 2.55% compared to the previous month.
When an overview of the January-October period was made, it was seen that Turkey's ferro alloy imports amounted to 473,380 tons in the 11-month period of 2022. However, this figure decreased by 9.81% to 426,961 tons in the same period this year.
According to the changes experienced in certain months of the year, it was determined that the highest imports occurred in May 2022, but the lowest imports were recorded in September. While August stood out as the month with the highest imports in the 11-month period of the year, the lowest imports occurred in February.
