According to Vietnam Customs, Vietnam imported roughly 177,000 tons of scrap in January 2022, sliding by 69.2% from the previous month and 57.1% from the same period a year ago.
During the period, Vietnam imported around 46,000 tons of scrap from the US, dropping by 41.2% year on year; followed by Japan's 27,000 tons and Hong Kong's 23,000 tons, plunging by 84.6% and 53.8% year on year, respectively.
