Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade has approved anti-dumping duties on cold rolled flat products imported from China. The missions were extended for the next five years.
Tax rates for 15 Chinese companies range from 4.43% to 25.22%. A tax of 25.22% was determined for all other exporters.
In the eleven months of 2022, Vietnam imported 10,732 million tons of steel, which is only 6.4% less than the previous year. Thus, although the country managed to become a net exporter for the first time in its history in 2021, it has again become a net importer of steel products.
