Value of South African non-ferrous metals exports up 10.1% in January-October

According to data released by the South African Revenue Service (SARS), the value of South Africa's exports of non-ferrous metals and metal products in October this year was $0.88 billion, down 11.2% from September. In the January-October period, South Africa's exports of non-ferrous metals and metal products reached $9.9 billion, up 10.1% y-o-y.

In October, imports of non-ferrous metals and products made from them into the country totaled $408.7 million, down 3.2% from the previous month. In the first ten months of this year, South Africa's imports of non-ferrous metals and metal products reached $4.4 billion, up 0.8% compared to the same period in 2022.
