US HMS ½ (80:20) scrap closed at $427. Entering the new week with a decrease, scrap prices were announced at $403.00.
HMS1 scrap prices decreased from $400 last week to $395 at the beginning of this week.
Pig iron prices remained stable
The US pig iron price was announced at $570 USD in the new week.
HRC and CRC prices start the week lower
The US hot rolled coil (HRC) and cold rolled coil (CRC) prices were realized at $1,211.00 and $1,365.00, respectively.
Brazilian slab and iron ore prices were unchanged
Brazil's slab prices announced earlier this week stood at $860 and iron ore prices at $149.10, remaining flat since Friday.
The price of pig iron decreased to $522 from $532.
Australia's coking coal price decreased
Australia's coking coal prices started the new week at $237, down by $23.
Iron ore prices increased from $103.61 to $106.01.
