In July this year, slab imports from the US totaled 313,547 tons, down by 32.1% on a monthly basis and up by 14.6% on an annual basis.
Imports from Brazil were 225,098 tons, Mexico 47,661 tons, Canada 27,537 tons and Japan 13,251 tons.
The value of imports in this period was realized as 237.9 million dollars.
