Scrap, HRC and CRC prices started the week with decreases
The US hot rolled coil (HRC) price fell from $1,211.00 to $1,195.00 and cold rolled coil (CRC) from $1,365.00 to $1,290.00.
US HMS ½ (80:20) scrap closed at $390. Scrap prices, which entered the new week with a decrease, were announced at $375.00.
HMS1 scrap prices fell from $388 last week to $380 at the start of this week.
US iron ore prices rose
The US iron ore price rose to $106.77 from $105.16 at the start of the week.
Pig iron price held steady
The US pig iron price was announced at $570 USD in the new week.
Brazil's slab prices fall
Brazil's slab prices, announced earlier this week, decreased from $837.00 to $770.00.
Iron ore and pig iron prices remained unchanged
The price of pig iron was steady at $522.00, unchanged at $123.10.
Australia's coking coal price rose
Australian coking coal prices started the new week $13 higher at $244.
