US drilling rig count increases by 1

The number of US drilling rigs increased by one to 625. The number of natural gas rigs decreased by one to 117, while the number of oil rigs increased by two to 504. The number of drilling rigs in the US decreased by a total of 143 rigs for the year.

Canada's drilling rig count decreased by 2 rigs

The number of drilling rigs in Canada decreased by two to 196. The number of drilling rigs in Canada decreased by a total of 16 rigs for the year.
