US pig iron and flat steel prices fell in the new week
In the new week dated 03.07.2023, the US HRC prices decreased from $1,055 to $993 and the US CRC prices decreased from $1,260 to $1,105.
The prices of pig iron fell from $476 to $451.
US scrap prices remain stable
HMS1 scrap prices were realized at $391 and HMS ½ (80:20) scrap prices were realized at $387. Prices remained flat.
Brazil's slab prices were flat while pig iron prices were on a downtrend
In the new week, the Brazilian slab price remained stable at $680, while the pig iron price fell from $462 to $430.
Australian coking coal prices increased
Australia's coking coal prices rose slightly to $237.
