US OCTG imports increased in April

In April 2023, US imports of oilfield tubular products (OCTG) increased by 3% on a monthly basis and 51.4% on an annual basis to around 310,000 tons.

Imports from South Korea ranked first

Imports from South Korea amounted to about 49,200 tons, Thailand to about 31,500 tons, Italy to about 25,600 tons, Canada to about 24,100 tons and Japan to about 22,300 tons.

Import value increased by 5.7% m-o-m

In this period, the value of imports increased by 5.7% mom and 80.3% yoy to around US$653 million.
