USDOC has issued a definitive ruling imposing anti-dumping (AD) duties on Türkiye's rebar production. The investigation revealed that specific Turkish rebar producers engaged in selling their products at prices below fair value during the period spanning from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.
According to the USDOC's findings, the weighted average dumping margin for the identified companies stood at 25.86%. Notably, Colakoglu Metalurji A.S. and Colakoglu Dis Ticaret A.S. were exceptions, as they received a zero dumping margin in the ruling. The products in question are steel concrete reinforcing bars imported either in straight lengths or coils.
The anti-dumping duty ruling officially took effect on December 28, 2023, signifying a significant development in trade relations between the United States and Türkiye.
