In September this year, US imports of hot-dip galvanized (HDG) steel sheet increased by 1.1% on a monthly basis and by 1.6% on an annual basis to about 168,100 tons.
Imports from Canada amounted to 72,300 tons, South Korea to 23,200 tons, Brazil to 21,000 tons and Mexico to 19,000 tons.
The value of imports during this period amounted to approximately US$ 209 million.
