In October this year, US imports of hot rolled coil (HRC) fell by 38% on a monthly basis and 2% on a yearly basis to around 144,500 tons.
Imports from Canada were about 66,400 tons, from Japan about 21,000 tons and from Mexico about 10,200 tons.
The value of imports in this period amounted to approximately US$117 million.
