In the week ended April 22nd, US crude steel production increased by 0.8% on a weekly basis to 1.7 million tons. On an annual basis, it decreased by 4.9%.
Capacity utilization rate reached 75.6
In this period, capacity utilization rate increased by 0.6% on a weekly basis and decreased by 6.3% yoy to 75.6%.
US adjusted year-to-date crude steel production decreased y/y
As of April 22, 2023, US adjusted year-to-date crude steel production was decreased by 4.4% y/y to 26.67 million tons, while capacity utilization decreased by 5.8% y/y to 74.5%.
