Flat steel sales in Brazil down 16.3% in March

According to the latest data released by the Brazilian National Institute of Steel Distributors (INDA), flat steel product sales by Brazilian distributors decreased by 16.3% y-o-y to 310,000 tons in March. This figure was up 0.8% compared to the previous month.

Distributors' flat steel purchases also decreased by 15.5% y-o-y and 5% m-o-m to 305,000 tons in the month. Inventory levels also decreased to around 903,000 tons.
