The number of US drilling rigs decreased by three to 620. While the number of natural gas rigs increased by 1 to 120, the number of oil rigs decreased by 3 to 498. The number of drilling rigs in the US decreased by a total of 159 rigs y-o-y.
Canada's drilling rig count decreased by 39 rigs
The number of drilling rigs in Canada decreased by 39 rigs to 146, while the annual total rose by 50 rigs.
