Flat steel prices are unlikely to change much next week. At the same time, some decrease in discounts is possible in case the shortage of thin HR and CR steel becomes more pronounced. Price change will mostly depend on Metinvest-SMC’s pricing policy for October, but the company has yet to decide on further moves.
While cold rolled coil prices remained flat, hot coil prices decreased by an average of 20-30 dollars compared to the first week of September.

Hot roll 10-16 mm $960-990
CRC 0.5mm $1050-1080
CRC 0.8-2mm $1030-1060
