Türkiye's wire rod exports increased by 295.2% in March

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's wire rod exports in March increased by 35.3% y/y from 136,886 tons to 185,217 tons. Compared to the previous month, February, it increased by 295,2%.

Total wire rod exports in the January-March period decreased by 17,5% from 348,409 tons to 287,405 tons.

In the month in question, Romania, Bulgaria and Italy ranked in the top 3 in wire rod exports of Türkiye. Wire rod exports from Romania amounted to 82,882 tons, followed by Bularia with 19,301 tons, Italy with 15,751 tons, Spain with 11,291 tons and Libya with 1 8,174 tons.
