Türkiye's wire rod exports increased by 16.1% in June

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's wire rod exports in June increased by 16.1% y/y from 98,748 tons to 114,626 tons. Compared to the previous month, May, it increased by 16.1%.

Total wire rod exports in the January-June period decreased by 0.3% from 528,973 tons to 527,435 tons.

In the month in question, Romania, Bulgaria and Italy ranked in the top 3 in wire rod exports of Türkiye. Wire rod exports from Romania amounted to 66,718 tons, followed by Bulgaria with 11,391 tons, Italy with 6,554 tons, Chile with 5,280 tons and Libya with 5,000 tons.
