Türkiye's scrap imports decreased by 12.77% in 11 months

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute ( TUIK), Türkiye's scrap imports in November increased by 17.1% compared to the same month of the previous year and by 3.78% compared to the previous month to 1,551.94 tons.

Total imports decreased by 12.77

Looking at the total import figure for the January-November period, while 19,618,343 tons of scrap was imported in the 11-month period of last year, this figure decreased by 12.77% to 17.114.751 tons in the same period of this year.

In the 11-month period of last year, the highest imports were realized in January, while the lowest imports were realized in November. In the same period of this year, while the highest imports were recorded in March, the lowest imports were recorded in September.
